A man accused of murdering a Coventry dad has appeared at Warwick Crown Court . Alexander Neilson was arrested after a stabbing in Tile Hill .
Police said 28-year-old Neilson allegedly stabbed Anthony Priestley to death at a property on Aldrich Avenue. It happened in the early hours of Tuesday, November 18.
Neilson was charged with murder and aggravated burglary and appeared at Coventry Magistrates' Court on Friday (November 21). He had a second hearing at Warwick Crown Court today (November 25).
He entered no pleas to the charges and will next appear at Warwick Crown Court on January 23. He was remanded into custody and a provisional trial date was set for May 2026.
