If there was an award for using the most positive coachspeak anecdotes in one press conference answer, Terry Smith might have won it Monday.
And Penn State redshirt sophomore tight end Andrew Rappleyea would have won the respective award for receiving those anecdotes.
Smith was asked Monday why Rappleyea — who scored his first career touchdown in Saturday’s 37-10 win over Nebraska — has been coming on so strong lately.
