Vitalant has announced its December blood drive locations in northern Arizona.

The nonprofit organization is seeking donors before the new year, with its announcement saying that holiday plans often lead to low turnout in December. It added that type O and platelet donors are especially needed -- type O because of its compatibility with other types and platelets because of their short shelf life.
