Saginaw County Circuit Judge Darnell Jackson on Monday, Nov. 24, sentenced 46-year-old Bobbi Jo Shively to 20 to 40 years in prison. Due to Shively having been on parole when she killed Melissa M. Wood, 37, in August 2024, the judge gave her no credit for time served in the local jail.
He also ordered her to pay $266 in fines and costs within 60 days.
Jackson further ordered Shively serve her new term consecutively to the time she has yet to serve on the convictions she was paroled on, about 18 years.
