GREEN Party leader Zack Polanski has joined other MPs and young campaigners gathered outside of Parliament to protest the Chancellor’s expected refusal to bring in wealth taxes on the super-rich.
The Green party leader posed beside a large pile of sacks of fake cash, which represents £24 billion annual revenue campaigners say the Treasury is missing out on by not implementing a 2% tax on individuals with net assets above £10 million.
One protestor also wore a papier mache of Rachel Reeves ' head and dressed as the Chancellor, standing looking away from the pile of cash, with her fingers in her ears, as the group held up signs reading “Why won’t you just tax their wealth?”.
Organised by youth campaign group Green New Deal Rising, the stunt comes the day before Reeves will announce her
