Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries after a wrong-way crash in Mansfield early Sunday morning, officials said.
The crash took place around 2:20 a.m. on the southbound side of Route 495, according to a statement released by the Mansfield Fire Department.
“The scene indicated a possible head-on impact involving a wrong-way driver,” the statement reads.
Two people were transported to trauma centers with serious injuries, according to the statement. No updates on their condition were immediately available.
Massachusetts state police are investigating the crash.
