CLEAR LAKE, Iowa — Clear Lake Police Captain Brandon Heinz, along with 24 other police executives from Iowa and Minnesota, graduated from Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command on November 21.

This intensive 10-week program prepares law enforcement managers for senior roles by blending academic principles with practical applications.

Police Chief Colby expressed enthusiasm about Captain Heinz's achievement. "I am very excited for Captain Heinz to have graduated from such a prestigious course," Colby said. "The skills and knowledge he learned will pay dividends for CLPD and our community."

The training, held at the St. Paul Police Department's facility, covered various topics including:
