Even with Tulane needing only a home win against hapless Charlotte (6:30 p.m. Saturday, ESPNU) to clinch a spot in the American Conference championship game, coach Jon Sumrall, quarterback Jake Retzlaff and defensive end Jordan Normal found plenty of flaws in what appeared to be a commanding 37-13 win at Temple on Saturday.
