Maricopa is getting a second Fry's

East Maricopa, your shopping dreams are about to come true.

Fry’s Marketplace is working to build a second location in the city, this time away from the main strip on the northwest corner of Farrell and White-and-Parker Roads, according to public records released yesterday to InMaricopa .

If approved, and once construction on the new Aldi supermarket is complete , it would become the city’s fifth standalone grocery store.

What we know: Developers said they “submitted a development review permit application to develop 24 acres … as a Fry’s Marketplace anchored commercial development.” And InMaricopa ’s previous reporting stated the grocery store would measure about 121,000 square feet, have an associated fuel station and 725 parking spaces.
