A crash involving a motorcyclist temporarily shut down westbound traffic on Honeycutt and White-and-Parker Roads this afternoon.

At approximately 4 p.m., a black Mazda SUV collided with a white motorcycle at the intersection. Both drivers were assessed by Maricopa Fire/Medical crews, according to an InMaricopa reporter on the scene. However, it was unclear if any injuries were reported or what caused the collision.

InMaricopa contacted Maricopa police and fire but has not yet received a response.

Westbound traffic on Honeycutt was backed up more than one mile, but eastbound traffic remained unaffected.
