“Wednesday” has found its Aunt Ophelia, as Eva Green joins the Netflix dark comedy as a series regular in Season 3.
The character was hinted at in the final moments of the Season 2 finale, which showed the back of Ophelia’s head. The casting of Green (“Casino Royale”) puts to bed the fan speculation that Lady Gaga’s character Rosalyn Rottwood could be Ophelia.
Ophelia Frump is the sister of Catherine-Zeta Jones’ Morticia Addams. She was committed by Willow Hill by their mother, Hester Frump (Joanna Lumley) before she escaped the psychiatric hospital.
