SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office said a teen has died after a shooting at an apartment complex on Monday night.

Deputies said they were called to the Bryant at 350 Bryant Road at 7:57 p.m.

The Spartanburg County Coroner’s Office said one of the victims, 16-year-old Brodarrien Tate, was shot and killed in a parking lot near his home.

The current condition of the other victim is unknown.

Several neighbors said they heard the gunshots. One woman, a mother of six kids said she dropped to her apartment floor and protected her babies as the shots rang out.

Neighbors said Monday’s shooting is especially alarming, because just last week shots were fired along the same road , Bryant road.
