It was far from pretty, but the San Francisco 49ers beat the Carolina Panthers 20-9 on ‘Monday Night Football,’ led by their star playmakers Christian McCaffrey and George Kittle. CMC had another ho-hum 31-touch (24 rushes and seven receptions), 142 scrimmage-yard game with a touchdown, while Kittle made six timely catches of his own while averaging 13.0 yards-per-catch to finish with 78 yards on the evening.

Despite the win to move to 8-4, Kittle wasn’t entirely happy with the offense’s overall performance.

“Obviously, we’re frustrated we didn’t put up more points. We’re striving to put up 30 points every single time. And we didn’t do that,” he said.

“The nice thing is, I feel like we moved the ball really well.”
