Florida mother of 5 reported missing multiple times found dead, officials say

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A Jacksonville mother of five reported missing multiple times over the past three months was found dead last week, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office told First Coast News Tuesday.

In a statement, a JSO spokesperson said a bystander found 34-year-old Kayla Bailey dead on Jacksonville's Westside last week. The spokesperson added that detectives do not believe there is any foul play involved at this time.

JSO's homicide unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding Bailey's death, the spokesperson said.
