The six days of Christmas transport bedlam expected by bosses

It's the most festive time of year, but that also means it's going to be particularly busy across Greater Manchester over the next few weeks. The big day is now just a month away, but transport bosses have issued an update on six keys festive dates for your diary - and the first is today (November 25).

Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) have said they're expecting a lot of people to travel over the festive period, so are asking those intending on heading into the city to plan ahead. They have recommended using public transport to avoid getting stuck in traffic on these dates, as there will be more congestion on the roads resulting in delays.

The first date is Tuesday, 25 November as Manchester City host Bay
