An already busy offseason for the Red Sox got busier Tuesday morning.

Per Jeff Passan , the Red Sox have sent LHP Brandon Clarke and RHP Richard Fitts in exchange for Cardinals right-hander Sonny Gray and $20 million.

Gray is going into his 14th season in MLB , playing across five different organizations. He has a 3.58 ERA for his career, while playing for the Oakland Athletics, New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds, Minnesota Twins, and St. Louis Cardinals.
