DALLAS — Multiple local agencies are at Lake Ray Hubbard in response to reports of a body, officials say.

According to Dallas Fire Rescue, DFR and other agencies responded to the lake late Tuesday morning and began efforts to locate and retrieve the body.

WFAA Chopper 8 footage showed DFR and another boat circling the lake as of 11:30 a.m.

DFR officials later confirmed that DFR’s Marine 1 unit and the Dallas Police Department’s Dive Team worked together to extract the body of an unidentified female from the water. The recovery took place around noon.

No additional details about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the discovery have been released. The investigation is ongoing.
