CROWLEY, Texas — A Crowley Police Officer is in desperate need of a live kidney donor, according to officials.

Officer Kwaun Shaw was diagnosed with stage 5 renal failure earlier this year and has since been placed on dialysis, officials say. Dialysis requires several hours of treatment, multiple times per week, according to the department. Outside of his work, Officer Shaw is a husband and father to a young son.
