Starting next summer, Southwest will be more than just a compass point from the Inland Empire to Hawaii.
Southwest Airlines will offer daily nonstop flights between Ontario International Airport and Honolulu starting June 4, 2026, the airport authority announced Tuesday, Nov. 25.
“Southwest is so thankful for 40 faithful years of nonstop support from our Southern California customers who choose the ease and access of Ontario,” Southwest Chief Operating Officer Andrew Watterson said in a news release.
The airline, he added, is “grateful” to fly customers to Hawaii with “nonstop access into our expansive interisland network that offers nearly 60 departures a day within Hawaii.”
Southwest will join Alaska Airlines in offering daily nonstop Ontario-to-Honolulu flights.
