‘American Pie’ star says she was drugged at hotel, unconscious for 8 hours

An actress best known for her roles in the American Pie film series is convinced a spiked drink sent her to the hospital.

Tara Reid told TMZ she left her drink at a Rosemont, Illinois hotel bar while she went outside to smoke and found her wine glass covered with a napkin when she returned. She said she was later unconscious for eight hours.

Rosemont police told TMZ it got a medical call for a “sick person.” There was no report of drugging and Reid has not filed a police report.

Photos of the scene showed Reid slouched in a wheelchair in the hotel lobby and on a stretcher on her way to the hospital.

Considered a 1990s sex symbol due to her role as Vicky Lathum in American Pie, her other notable roles include the films Urban Legend (1998), Body Shots (1999), Josie and the Pussyca
