U.S. Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., said that the FBI has indicated that they have begun what appears to be a probe into her and the other former military and intelligence officers now serving in Congress who released a video reminding military personnel that they can refuse to follow illegal orders.
Slotkin told reporters during a Nov. 25 news conference that the alert of a potential inquiry came from the FBI's Counterterrorism Division came the previous evening. The FBI declined to comment and the U.S. Department of Justice did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
