Warren McClendon Jr. was in the right place at the right time on Sunday night.

Not only did he assume a starting role at right tackle for the Los Angeles Rams (9-2), but he found himself seated on the bench in the first half next to tight end Colby Parkinson .

Like all of us, McClendon knew that the veteran tight end had scored in back-to-back games and was due to play an even higher snap-count against Tampa Bay, with Tyler Higbee recently placed on injured reserve. So, he seized the moment.
