CLEVELAND, Ohio --Northeast Ohio has several dance companies. And more than one of them puts on the holiday classic “The Nutcracker.”
This season North Pointe Ballet will celebrate the 10th anniversary of its inclusive holiday tradition with two separate productions of “The Nutcracker” this December — first in Lorain, then in Berea.
The company’s annual production, known for its commitment to accessibility and community engagement, will run Dec. 5–7 at the Lorain Palace Theatre, 617 Broadway Ave., Lorain.
A second set of performances follows Dec. 19–21 at the Berea-Midpark High School Performing Arts Center, 165 E. Bagley Road, Berea.
At both locations, audiences will see North Pointe Ballet’s professional dancers perform alongside youth from local studios.
