The regional wastewater treatment facility that is currently being planned for the southeast, received a shot in the arm Tuesday morning.

The governments of Canada and Manitoba have announced a $22 million grant through the Canada Housing Infrastructure Fund (CHIF). This fund encourages investment into rural infrastructure projects that build or upgrade the critical infrastructure needed to develop more homes and meet the growing demand for affordable housing.
