1Teen charged with attempted murder in Baltimore shooting of another 17-year-old

Baltimore, MD – A 17-year-old male has been arrested and charged as an adult in connection with the shooting of another teen earlier this fall in Baltimore’s Southeast District, police announced Monday.

The shooting occurred on the evening of October 5 in the 1000 block of North Luzerne Avenue. Officers arrived at the scene shortly before 6 p.m. and found a 17-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital and later listed in stable condition.

Following a month-long investigation, police took the suspect into custody on Friday and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility. He now faces charges of attempted first-degree murder.
