Penn State’s past three performances — a three-point loss to No. 2 Indiana and wins over Michigan State and Nebraska — have been night-and-day different from the previous six-game losing streak.
Much of that success has stemmed from a commitment to superstar running back Kaytron Allen, who set Penn State’s career rushing record last Saturday, and a simplified defensive scheme that allows the Nittany Lions to play faster.
