The Washington County District Attorney’s Office is seeking additional victims after a man pleaded guilty to seven sex-abuse-related charges in Oregon and Washington.

Antonio Arredondo Jr., 39, pleaded guilty last Tuesday to first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and first-degree sex abuse. He is scheduled to be sentenced to 40 years on March 16.

Prosecutors said Arredondo developed a pattern of abuse after moving to Oregon from Texas, where he was convicted of molesting a child in 2009. By 2022, he was meeting single mothers with daughters under age 10 through an online dating site. Several of the children had disabilities, according to the district attorney’s office.
