FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. —

Gov. Josh Shapiro is in Fayette County to discuss a new feature for Pennsylvania taxpayers.

Shapiro spoke about the Working Pennsylvanians Tax Credit which is set to provide $193 million in tax relief for nearly one million working Pennsylvanians

The new credit was outlined in the governor's 2025-26 budget. It establishes a new credit equal to 10% of the federal Earned Income Tax Credit
