The Alexandria girls hockey team looked to go 3-0 on the week as they took on the Wayzata Trojans on Saturday, Nov. 22 in an afternoon contest.
The Cardinals had every opportunity to pull out the win but just couldn’t take care of a few things defensively and let this one slip away. Wayzata defeated Alexandria by a final of 4-3. Victoria Meyers had a great game between the pipes again and came up with some big time saves in big moments.
Teagan Cullen would give the Cards a 1-0 lead with an assist from Emma Bassen and Skylar Thorson to take the lead heading into the second period. The Trojans would come out firing right away in the second period to take a 2-1 lead early. Despite some breakdow
