APPLETON, Wis. (WBAY) - In Outagamie County Court on Tuesday, a preliminary hearing was set for a woman arrested in a child neglect case where a 14-year-old was found weighing just 35 pounds.

Savanna Lefever is the teen’s stepsister. She will return to court on December 19.

Lefever and three others face multiple child neglect charges. The child’s father reportedly told first responders the girl had an eating disorder.

However, investigators say she was eating fine once she was in the hospital.
