FRANKLIN, Ky. – A Tennessee man is facing multiple charges after authorities say he fled police in Simpson County on Monday.
According to a uniform citation, a call came in around 9:35 p.m. about a reckless driver on Interstate 65 southbound at the 17-mile marker.
A deputy with the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office states they positioned their cruiser to find the vehicle, described as a white two-door Cadillac.
Authorities say they observed the described vehicle failing to maintain its lane.
Authorities say despite the deputy’s activated emergency lights, the vehicle failed to pull over and had fluctuating speeds.
The vehicle continued to flee on I-65 southbound until it left the interstate at exit 2, according to the citation. Authorities say the vehicle then turned north on Nashville
