POSEN, Ill. (WKOW) -- The Posen Police Department released new footage of Morgan Geyser's arrest.

Madison police say Geyser ran away from her group home in Madison late Saturday night with her acquaintance. The acquaintance has been legally identified as Chad Mecca, 43, who later revealed her identity to 27 News as "Charly" using she/her pronouns .

Officers responded to a Thorton's Truck Stop in Posen around 9 p.m. Sunday for a call of two people loitering, which turned out to be Geyser and Charley. Officers then asked Geyser and Charly to identify themselves, after trying to verify if they were missing or endangered.

The two first gave police fake names. Geyser said her name was "Stephanie" and Charly said her government name was "Charles."
