LODI, Wis. (WKOW) -- A 59-year-old man died Tuesday after a motorcycle crash in Lodi.

Lodi Police Chief Wayne Smith said the crash happened at the overhead railroad crossing on Highway 60 between Canning Street and Nestle Street. Smith said the impact was on the stone abutment of the bridge.

The highway was closed for nearly three hours during the investigation.

Chief Smith said the motorcycle operator is from Mukwonago, but did not release the man's name since his family members are still being notified.

No other vehicles were involved.
