A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 4:26 p.m. valid from Wednesday 7 p.m. until Thursday 7 p.m. for Cambria, Blair, Somerset and Bedford counties.
The weather service comments, "West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected for the Laurel Highlands."
"Gusty winds will blow around holiday decorations and other unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result," describes the weather service. "Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects."
