MANSFIELD, Texas — They may only be 12, but the journey has been long for Aeiress Jones and Raymond Ware.

The two seventh graders in Mansfield Independent School District started acting as young children and are now true professionals.

“It's a lot of work, a lot of auditions, because you don't always land the role. So it's auditioning, working," Aeiress’ mom, Tanisha Jones, explained.

Raymond’s mom, Selena Ware, added, “It’s a balance, right? We know that you are creative children, you love acting, but you're also a student, this is a village."

That village could not be any prouder, as Aeiress and Raymond both landed principal roles on the hit ABC show "Abbott Elementary!"
