MUSKEGON, MI - The city of Muskegon is running a sale on its beach parking passes for the month of December.

Anyone who purchases one $40 beach parking pass between December 1-31 will receive a second pass free.

Parking passes are needed for the following Muskegon parks:

Pere Marquette Beach

Margaret Drake Elliot Park

Kruse Park

Harbour Towne Beach

The sale is limited to one BOGO bundle per person and cannot be combined with any other discounts, according to a press release .

The offer can be applied through the new license plate reader system, gift certificates, and physical sticker passes.

The new license plate reader system for beach parking will begin in 2026.
