MONTVILLE, Conn. (WFSB) - Police arrested a man after finding a stolen firearm at a home in Montville.

The man was identified as Akeem Morris, 47, from Montville.

According to East Lyme police, the firearm went missing on Aug. 26.

On Nov. 1, officials found the gun at a home while investigating the complaint of an assault and threatening with a firearm.

Morris was taken into custody on Wednesday.

He was charged with criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a dangerous weapon, 4th degree larceny, and stealing a firearm.

Morris was held on a $30,000 bond.
