Five thugs have now been convicted after a man was brutally attacked during a 'family disco' at a West Bromwich pub. Their mugshots were today released by police as they were found guilty.

Matthew Adams, described by loved ones as a "devoted daddy", tragically died after he was viciously punched, kicked and dragged on the floor at the Gough Arms in the early hours of March 19, 2023.

The 33-year-old went home from the Jowetts Lane venue to recover, but just four days later, he was taken to hospital where he sadly died.

Shortly after midnight on the day of the incident, John Wise, Nichola Stanley, Nichola’s brother Ryan Stanley, Mark Shorthouse and a 17-year-old boy walked into the pub.
