DOLAN SPRINGS, AZ (AZFamily) — A man has been arrested after deputies say he shot at a good Samaritan before opening fire on a business from a “sniper position” in northwest Arizona.
Around 9:45 p.m. on Saturday, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) deputies responded to a business near Pierce Ferry Road and 9th Street , in Dolan Springs, a small community north of Kingman. Deputies say a man in a “sniper’s position” was firing at the building.
When deputies arrived, they found 64-year-old Kevin Paul Barnes, of Dolan Springs, with a gun and ordered him to drop his weapon before detaining him, according to the sheriff’s department.
