DALLAS — Dallas police Wednesday released body camera video and new details about a deadly shooting earlier this week outside the Hyde & Seek Lounge in Downtown Dallas .

Dallas Police Chief Daniel Comeaux said in a Nov. 26 press conference that both on-duty and off-duty officers assigned to provide security detail at the lounge were at the scene in the 2000 block of Commerce Street around 2 a.m. Nov. 24 following a disturbance, police say.

Comeaux said at one point, a man, identified as Kedric McDonald, 31, allegedly pointed a handgun and fired multiple rounds into a vehicle where a 27-year-old Zemeid Cox was seated.

McDonald allegedly then fired more rounds that hit three other people standing nearby before he ran toward officers with the gun pointed toward them, Comeaux said. Surve
