Getting in the Christmas spirit is easy this year. All it takes is a trip to the Museum of Uintah County, formerly the Heritage Museum, to witness a record breaking holiday display. “A very large Christmas village collection was acquired by Charitable Friends of Ashley Valley to present in Vernal,” shares Quinn Bennion. “The collection is among the largest in Utah. The villages, trains and features were obtained from a village enthusiast after 40 years of collecting.” Recognition is due to Shar and Rhett Searle for organizing and setting up the display and once you see it, you’ll understand why their donation of time is a huge deal!
