WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Watertown City Police found stolen items valued at more than $7,000 while responding to a fire in Watertown.
Police say while responding to a fire incident involving lithium-ion batteries on Burlington Street Tuesday morning, an officer recognized stolen items from a different case.

Police charged 45-year-old Margo Lowe with criminal possession of stolen property.
They say she had a weed whacker, edger, leaf blower, pull saw, battery chargers, rechargeable batteries, and other items valued at $7,272.
As for the initial call, fire officials say one person was injured and taken to the hospital after the failure of several lithium-ion batteries.
