A white nationalist group’s recent London rally drew condemnation from police and politicians. It also sparked a heated online debate about the right to peaceful assembly and immigration in Canada. But few online commenters had previously heard of Second Sons Canada, the group that held the demonstration on an Old South overpass on Sunday in a bid to raise its profile and recruit new members.
What is Second Sons Canada?
A self-described Canadian men’s nationalist club dedicated to political activism and fitness training, the organization says it doesn’t support any political party.
“We believe that the Canadian legacy political establishment has become hopelessly corrupt and rotten with foreign money and influence,” the group says on its website.
