PETTIS COUNTY — A four-month long investigation has led to drug charges for a Sedalia man.
Sarandon A. Staten is charged with one count each of drug trafficking, manufacture, delivery and possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon.
During a search of Staten’s residence large quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine and marijuana were found, as were a firearm and over $7,000 in cash. The residence where Staten is allegedly known to make crack cocaine was also searched.
Staten made his initial appearance in Pettis County court Wednesday morning.
