PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers received some critical updates on multiple standout players. While they will be without Broderick Jones and Derrick Harmon , others seem primed to return from injury.
The first to update is quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Mike Tomlin said that he had ‘great optimism’ that Rodgers will play this week, though when Rodgers talked on Wednesday, there were some more questions.
Rodgers added he did not yet feel comfortable enough to take a snap from under center, and it was frustrating to be out on Sunday. He will return to practice on Thursday and Friday and then make a decision from there.
