CHEYENNE — It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, whether you’re ready or not.
After weeks of mild autumn days, a cold front is set to move into southeastern Wyoming this weekend, with lows getting down into the negatives overnight, frosting over the region just in time for local holiday festivities.
Colby Goatley, lead meteorologist for Cheyenne’s National Weather Service office, said the cold front will move in Friday night.
“During the afternoon on Friday, temperatures are actually a very mild, warmer than average for this time of year,” Goatley said. “But then, once we get into the evening and nighttime hours, we’ll see that cold front come through.”
