LAS VEGAS — The Wolverines hope what happens in Vegas does not stay in Vegas.

Michigan won its third blowout in as many nights Wednesday, beating Gonzaga 101-61 for the Players Era Championship title. The Wolverines hit the jackpot in the process, earning an extra $1 million for the victory on top of the $1 million each of the 18 teams in the event received for participating.

Michigan (7-0) beat San Diego State 94-54 on Monday and demolished Auburn 102-72 the next night. Both games were at Michelob Ultra Arena; Wednesday’s was at nearby MGM Grand Arena, where the fire alarm went off during pregame warmups.
