A mother-of-five has calculated she will receive an additional £900 per month in benefits following the scrapping of the two-child benefit cap in the Budget.

Stay-at-home mum Lisa White, 31, cares for five children aged between three and ten alongside her partner, David White, 35, at their residence in Monmouth, south Wales .

The family has been dependent on Universal Credit and child benefits since David stopped working due to mental health concerns, currently receiving approximately £1,900 monthly in benefits.
