SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Happy Thanksgiving!
The cold front is now offshore, allowing for cooler air to move in across the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry. Lows will be in the 40s this morning, 10 to even 20 degrees cooler than yesterday! If you are hitting the road this morning, the weather won’t slow you down.
We are expecting dry roads all day. Temperatures will climb to about 60 degrees by noon with highs in the lower 60s. Cool and quiet weather continues into the evening with temperatures falling into the 40s by the mid evening hours.
Chilly air continues to move in on Friday with widespread freezing temperatures for areas west of I-95. Wind chills will drop to the mid to upper 20s for many communities around daybreak as well. Cool air remains will us all day with highs only in the mid
