Willimantic road closed as police investigate active scene

WILLIMANTIC, Conn. (WFSB) - Police are investigating an active scene in the area of Mountain Street and Hayden Street on Thursday.

Police asked the public to avoid the area while the investigation continues.

The situation is contained, according to police.

Mountain Street is blocked between Pleasant and Southridge Drive.
